URK is the Universal Runtime Kernel: a public, open-source runtime for interactive browser experiences. Its architecture is standalone-first, adapter-based, and controller-driven.
Explicit by design
The repository describes explicit runtime state, resource ownership, and lifecycle management. Its v0.2 source includes the implementation; package publication is a separate step.
Where it fits here
This portfolio uses a pinned local URK candidate for Field Study in the Creative Lab, a reversible home-page scroll composition, and optional hero motion. Astro continues to own the content and navigation. The runtime is consumed as package dependencies.
